Feb-May 2017

  • Met with product managers to understand project requirements and objectives.​

  • Designed a range of television antennas for the brand PHILIPS with a unique design language that carried through the whole range.

  • Created CAD models, technical drawings, and explanatory renderings to communicate design concepts effectively.

  • Collaborated on the design of security lights, focusing on both form and function.

  • Developed a patent-pending system for mounting television antennas, addressing usability and installation challenges.

Strata Visuals

  • Designed and built Strata's retail website, ensuring user-friendly navigation and visually appealing interface that is in line with Strata's chosen branding.

SPECIAL RECOGNITIONS AND COLLABORATIONS

International Contemporary Furniture Fair 2014

Designed an isolation chair called Friendship and was selected to present it at ICFF 2014 in NYC.
I was also commissioned by Wilsonart to design the backdrop for the booth at ICFF, giving me valuable personal experience in dealing with a real company and real world deadlines.

Publication at AHFE International

A paper I coauthored about the research and development of &You (a partnered project I worked on) was accepted by AHFE International and presented at the 7th International Conference on Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics in July 2016. It was the first paper published by undergraduates in the history of the University of Houston’s Industrial Design program.

Poly-Mirror K Exhibit at the Exploratorium

I was invited to show a demo of a personal project called Poly-Mirror K for an Exploratorium After Dark event. With help from the Exploratorium shop, I fabricated a low cost exhibit in under a week and had the opportunity to receive direct feedback from After Dark patrons.
